Mitsubishi HC Capital Inc. (Representative Director, President & CEO: Taiju Hisai; the “Company”) has been selected for the first time for the “Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) Leaderboard,” the highest level of recognition in the 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment (the “SEA”) conducted by CDP, an international environmental non-profit organization headquartered in the United Kingdom.
The SEA evaluates corporate supply chain engagement on climate issues. Companies that demonstrate the highest level of performance are recognized on the “SEA Leaderboard.” In 2025, a total of approximately 2,000 companies were selected worldwide, of which approximately 400 were from Japan.

The Company Group has identified six material issues, including the promotion of a decarbonized society, as priority themes to be addressed in achieving sustainable growth. Based on these material issues, the Company Group is advancing various initiatives aimed at realizing a carbon-neutral society by 2050.
Against this backdrop, the Company Group positions its response to climate change as a core element of its medium- to long-term management strategy and has formulated and disclosed the “Transition Plan toward the Realization of a Carbon-neutral Society” (the “Transition Plan”). In implementing the Transition Plan, the Company Group recognizes that effective action across the entire supply chain is essential, not limited to its own initiatives, and therefore places strong emphasis on dialogue and collaboration with suppliers.
The Company believes that these supplier engagement initiatives centered on the Transition Plan were favorably evaluated in the SEA, resulting in its selection for the “SEA Leaderboard.”

The Company Group will continue to address climate change through collaboration with suppliers, as well as enhanced disclosures to ensure transparency of its initiatives, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
